scammer called from this number offing to buy furniture from a Craigslist listing i had posted and this person wants to buy my furniture without even seeing it said he would send a money order and that he cant come see the item because he works all the time in a lab lol scammer!!!! these people are getting bolder and bolder!!!!!
He sent me a text saying the same thing! He was going to purchase the item without even looking at it. Then I searched the number and found out it was a scam. I told him I was going to the police with it and he said he was going to do the same to me and flagged my post as a scam on Craigslist.
WARNING***** SCAM***** I received a check from this individual for 2000.00 dollars over my asking pice of 2650.00 for a total of 4650.00. I decided to hold on to the check and take it to my local Walmart for cashing. The Walmart teller ran the check through the system, and it gave an error message "Unreadable Account Number." After several attempts, she gave it back to me, and said she was unable to help me with this. I notified the buyer, that the check was giving an error of sort, and he replied "You banks system in faulty." Do NOT release or send your item to include any cash they request after the sale. I GAURANTEE you will lose it.
