We have had the 224 area code blocked for over a year - our phones do not ring when when these criminals call.
Please do not answer unknown calls and DO NOT call the number back.
Check Costco for Panasonic blocking telephones - blocks 250 full telephone numbers.
Check Amazon for the D***tone call blocker. This device can block entire area codes or area codes and any other numbers such as prefixes. Have friends or family in a blocked area code? No problemo - simply "invite" their number into you blocker - they can call right through.
Called at 4:44pm - blocked forever.
Another caller - probably robot - who hung up when we answered. I think maybe checking for valid phone numbers for a later campaign. We received 4 simultaneous calls from this caller (robot). Looks like a merchant account (credit card processing) type of call
I let the answering machine take it, as I do all numbers I don't recognize, and it was a robocaller talking about how they performed hundreds of reviews for electrical contractors. At the end it had the dial 1 to leave our contact info if we are interested for dial 9 to be removed from this list. What I chose to do was erase the message from the answering machine.
A very obnoxious b.i.t.c.h. with obnoxious sound for recording about rate-cuts and funds, and one of our agents will call you.
From 224-802-1737, and then, wait for it, wait for it... shortly thereafter from 214-414-3313, for us to upgrade our credit card machine with new programming by Oct. 1st. What a bunch of morons.
