I too got calls about my Craig's Listing from this number and others. To take a check from someone you do not know and give them the merchandise before the check clears is foolishness.

This number called on a Craigs listing. Wanted to send a check for merchandise knowing most people think if you cash it at your bank, it is good, "wrong" the check still needs to clear their bank because if it does not, your bank will charge it back to you. The caller also wanted to make the check out for more than the price and send the excess to the movers. Sometimes they think everyone was born yesterday. hope this helps someone from getting scamed.

I returned the guy's check via USPS Priority Mail the day I received it and sent him a message saying the deal is off, and he keeps messaging me and harassing me.
