Caller ID Shows Public Appeal....I tried answering the call, no one on came on phone. I've tried letting call go to answering machine, a message is never left.
For REAL, What do these people want...??? Numerous calls comming in regularly. for weeks. I don't have system to block the calls.
Getting calls on my cell from these guys. Seems to be Public Appeal Inc out of Gretna, LA on behalf of the Fraternal Order of Police. However, the call I got states: "This is a call on behalf of PAWI. Please call the following number-" and then gives an 800 number so quickly that I didn't have time to write it down. When I can back the number on caller ID, I get a message saying I've called the Fraternal Order of Police and to call back...
I, too, have received calls on my cell from this number. I usually don't answer them. Today, I decided to call back. When I did in order to try and find out who was calling me, I got a message that it was the "Kids Listen network"????

Got a call today (again) from (225) 214-4279. I usually don't answer numbers I don't recognize, but, since this one calls so much, I decided to answer & see who it was. All I got before I decided to hang up, was something about "Public Awareness". That's all I needed to know. I hung up. I even went online a few months ago & put my cell # on the Do Not Call list. Well, that did no good. I get just as many of these kinda of calls now, as I did before putting my number on the list. Waste of time.
