This is a "local number" that will call other "local numbers" , i.e. anyone within the 225 area code. If you answer just one time, you will never get rid of whomever calls from this number. It evidently is a number that all those marketeers/phone scammers/ etc. use by whatever means (don't ask me?) and once you have answered it, you are then passed one as a "hot" person - LOL. Anyway, I am not trying to tell you they are dangerous, just extremely driving you crazy type, won't answer the phone, illegal and know it, etc. The best way I can tell you to have fun with them is IF YOU HAVE 5-10 FREE MINUTES, PLAY WITH THEM I hope you understand what I say here. Give them funny names, funny numbers, read them your last play, notes off of the cereal boxes, let them listen to YouTube's worst of the worst (very difficult to find these days!!), put one phone next to your kitty &/or puppy dog, and so forth. Make certain that no credit/debit card/any bank card info can or will be given to them, however any other ID info, such as that stuff on the fake blank card you bought with that Hong Kong wallet might be OK, etc, etc, etc, etc. In other words, this is what I used to do when I was 10 years old and bored. Don't tell my father, even though he is not here on earth. He still will make certain that I will get some kind of "catching up" and that does NOT MEAN TIME OUT.

Same as former reporter. 225 or 504 283-3086 comes from Livingston, LA. It calls the number anytime of day, any day of the week. It evidently has no problem with being tracked and, or charging long distance charges to the phone number called. Unfortunately, any charges being charged to the receiving phone number will be transferred back to it, including the additional transferree charges. Thus, an original prank costing $3.00 for example, will end up costing around $6.00 plus taxes and carrying charges.. And that charge continues to rack up additional costs every day that it is not paid. For example, This charge will reach $9.00 by midnight tonight of Monday, 11May2015. Then, every 2 hours, an additional charge of no less than $9.00, making the next total to $18.00 + $3.00= $31.00. That's just for the 1st hour and half. without your LOST INSTRUMENT, SO YOU BETTER KEEP LOOKING, LOOKING, LOOKING, LOOKING, LOOKING, LOOKING,........ AND DON'T QUIT. AND DON'T STOP EARNING MONEY, EITHER.
Called my home line 25 TIMES TODAY.....I didn't answer any of the calls. Finally threw in the towel and called the number back and it was answered "Energy Center". Told the young man to take my number off their list. Hope they do so. I am also listing it with DNC.
