After I informed the caller they had made an unrequested sales call to my cell phone they still were unaware they were doing anything wrong and wanted to continue to make a sales pitch. Pure ignorance on the part of the employer and employee that this is unacceptable, reportable to the FCC and illegal. The 1991 Telemarketing Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), makes it illegal for solicitation calls to be made to wireless phone numbers without clear permission from the individual to whom a number has been assigned.
A similar number called yesterday and when i called back they asked for my name. Saying they received my auto information. I told them i am epileptic and havent driven in 5 years. They said okay and hung up. Called from a different number today saying the same thing. I asked to be removed from their call log
