This number has been calling me once or twice a day for over a week. They never leave a message - just dead air on my answering machine. I can find no information about this number other than it is in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. I'm guessing it's a political call but even after answering once and asking them to leave me alone, they are still calling.
They say it's about you living in an Entergy target area with rates targeted to go up. Then they say the state has allowed up to $4,000 in energy audits for homes that qualify. They asked me a couple questons: do I own the home, do I plan on selling it within the year, how much my highest entergy bill was...i asked them for clarification on that because Entergy sometimes verifies stuff with bills...the person stopped talking. Maybe they somehow left the desk...i don't know...but that was it. Ask Entergy if their doing an Entergy Efficiency program like the caller claims.
They keep calling me and calling me. They never leave a message. My sister answered for me and said she was my personal assistant and they said it was a personal matter and couldn't discuss it with her. If it's so important and personal why don't they leave a message?
called it back; something along what Frank wrote: keywords "State" "Louisiana" "Entergy" "efficiency audit" "up to $4500" i said thanks, then blocked the number.
I live in Baton Rouge, and the phone number is being spoofed. It says 225, but comes up as "out of area" on caller ID. Similarly, 407 is not a local prefix number. Could be a cell phone prefix, but I don't think Entergy would be calling people on a cell phone.
