I have received 4 (four) calls from this number today, the latest at 3:15 pm. When I answer my phone, no one says anything, there is only a noise. I have told them to stop calling me. It shows: SPRINGFIELD LA on my Caller ID. When I call the number, I consistently get a busy signal. I feel sure this is either a telemarketer or someone wanting a donation.

This number (225-414-2843) just called my home. Caller ID shows: SPRINGFIELD LA. I answered , there was a noise, then a guy asked, "Who is this?". I said," You called me, who are you?" He then repeatedly asked for me by name, and I repeatedly said yes and asked who he was. He hung up on me without saying anything else. As before, when I call the number back, I get a busy signal.
Unsolicited & Automated voice bot asking if I want burial insurance (did not mention company name.)...Almost sounds like a real person. Said that an Insurance rep will be calling me soon. Gonna send the guy on a wild goose chase to wrong address.
I answered the automated call....They called me back with a live person. She wanted my to get my cheque book and read off the account and routing numbers...quoted me a price without telling me what the company name was. Upon being asked, she provided me with with name of a legit company and the licence of a real insurance dealer...but the number she was calling me from was spoofed and the call back number is not listed anywhere.

Once again, I received a call from 225-414-2843 just a few minutes ago. This time a young girl said she was calling from the Seniors Benefit Program. I told her I am tired of them calling me and hanging up. I also told her about the call earlier and she apologized for the man's actions. I told her I would very much appreciate their not calling me anymore and to remove my phone number from their list. We will see how many more times they call me before they actually stop.
