This number called me and said that I had paid for their computer service. He told me to go to a login site that allowed him to control my mouse on my computer, and pulled up a program that said there were 50,000+ corrupted files and that my computer was about to crash. He then wanted me to buy a new Windows program. I told him I would think about it; I talked it over with my roommate and we agreed it was a scam because Microsoft would not call you on their own.

I was ripped off for $249.99 - said I had Malware and foreign nations had access to all my personal files. The screen with blue with warning of MALWARE - this is a pop up. My Mack solution tech said it was. I never had any Malware. They called on three other numbers: 225-341-6669,1866-584-4407, 225-590-7380 (from Florida & Louisiana) BEWARE BEWARE!!!
I was scammed at first by this company until I did some research on the call. I found out that it was a scam from Microsoft and McAfee. I put a stop payment on my account and changed my account info. BEWARE
SCAM. They also call from VA. Charged me 999.00 to fix a problem they said existed but didn't when I checked with Apple. I cancelled the payment. They are still calling me 5 months later.
