It was a credit card scam. A recording from "MY" credit card services (didn't say what card) that said my account was fine, but I had a LIMITED amount of time to qualify for a 1 % apr. Just press one and give info. Needless to day, I did NOT press one.
called today from 225 987 0258 left no message. Showed on Caller ID Louisiana Call. I tried calling number tonight and get recording it has been disconnected. may have been a "fake" recording as you can do from what I see posted here. I did a reverse look up and it came from a Landline in East Baton Rouge.
Got a call from this number. Promised to reduce my credit card rates. Asked how they got my home number, told me it was an automated list. When I asked about getting my number of the list the A-hole hung up on me.
