Caller (on Tuesday) with accent said I had a problem with my home computer, that it was sending error message to Microsoft and he needed access to my computer to see what the problem was. I told him I was in my car so couldn't give him access. He asked when he could call again and we arranged for him to call on Thursday am. He actually did! Called 2x but did not leave a message. I'm marking this as a prank call but I believe that he would eventually have tried to get access to my computer and credit card info.
I got a call from 229-552-3730 this afternoon 11/9/2015 at about 2:19pm. Some guy speaking in a forign language. Very loud in the back ground. Said hi 3 or 4 times then the caller hung up.
The guy was indian with a very heavy accent. He said that he was calling about something to do with my computer. When i told him i didnt have one that worked he said he would cancel my registration. When i asked registration for what he asked again if i had said i didnt have a computer. I told him not one that worked so he said he was going to cancel the registration ok? So i said fine bc i have no idea what he was even saying.
Caller with an foreign accent said he was a Micorsoft engineer. I said no your are not he hung up. Called the number back and a recording said it was a non-working number. This is a SCAM,
