Got a call from this number. A recording came on an said im being sued by irs.  I figure if it was that important they would leave a message by human not machine

If it was the IRS, they would send you letters by first class mail.  Several of them.  Then they would send certified letters that you needed to sign for.  Ignore those and the next thing they do is freeze your bank accounts.  They do not call.
