I'm getting a call asking about my Nissan Pathfinder (231 area code with "Haworth" on caller ID). I can hear his accent and tell from the background noise he is in a call center. I ask if he is calling from Michigan (as the number shows), he doesn't understand me and goes right back to his spiel. I get pissed and say your using a false number to contact me, please take me off your call list and I will report this call and hang up. That was yesterday. Got two calls already again today. I'm already on the Do Not Call List yet I receive calls such as this one every week. Frustrating.
A man with a far Eastern accent asks me about an extended warranty on my car. When he asks me how many miles on the car, I tell him 3. He says 3 thousand? I say no, 3. I tell him to pull his turban off his ears so he can hear me. He then gets sort of pissed and there is a lot of background noise. He then calls later in the day and does not do any talking. He has called several times before this but we just haven't answered. I will from now on because it's fun when he gets pissed.....
