they have been calling and hanging up the past few days at my house. one time a guy asked me to help my computer but i just got a really scary call where a guy asked me what i was doing what i liked what i was wearing and said he wanted to just talk about me. when i told him off and asked him who he worked for he said "my name is -" and then hung up. really weird and scary
These people have called four times in the past 24 hours, it is a scam about error messages coming from your computer. Another number they call from is 1-201-301-0307. The say they are from windows Technical Department. I said well just give me your number and I'll call back and they said we don't give out our number...I said because this is a scam and they hung up.

If you are on the list and you join something on the internet, you have to usually check a box to agree to some stuff, if you do not read it and check the box and join a site, then you actually are giving them permission to call you. I learned this the hard way.
