This "Windows" scam does not give up! They can hardly speak English, they pop their # all over the country. If you call back you get a redording that the# is not in service. Sure I will gladly give you access to my PC -NOT.
Caller claimed he was acting on behalf of our operating system provider, and tried to convince me that my computer was faulty. After I explained that our operating system provider does not know our phone number, and that I believed he was trying to commit fraud over the phone, he started cursing at me and told me that the 'police could not do anything'. He hung up with a cheery "F*** Off".
Evidently this particular fellow is called Jack Johnson (he spelled it for me) and it was the usual your windows computer is sending out errors and viruses. He switched when I said I had a MAC, that his company was hired to do tech support for windows and mac system. I could not understand who he said hired them to do this, it wasn't something familiar though.I got a phone number from him 270-776-9227 which he said was in Virginia, Richmond. According to this site that is a number in Kentucky. My phone listed this number 231-546-8711 and Michigan as the place from which he called.

Just got a call from the same number. All you do is hit the pound key several times and then you get a recorded message saying "Good Bye" and then hangs up. This should remove you from their computer and slow down the calls. This is only the 2nd call I got in 2 months.
