As a Canadian, we don't have the ability to file complaints with the FCC, but we do have the ability to file complaints with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, as telemarketing/phone scams that are done outside of the proscribed laws here in Canada is a punishable criminal offense. I have already contacted the Phonebusters Task Force here in Canada, and I urge any other Canadians who receive these calls to follow suit.
I rec'd a call from the same company. They are apparently a telemarketing firm based in Morley, MI. They are running some sort of scam for vacations to the Caribean, telling me that a family member registered my name in draw at Macy's or Bloomingdale's. Funny thing is, as a Canadian living in Saskatchewan, I know someone didn't do that.
