It's a telemarketing recording with an offer to extend the warranty on your vehicle as "Ann" claims that it is about to run out. She also goes on to warn you that this will be your "last call" if I don't respond. Ignoring it DOES NO GOOD, playing along to get an operator DOES NO GOOD! The first thing out of their mouth when they pick up (after you press 1) though is "What is the year, make and model of your vehicle?"
I get calls from phone number 231-732-2337 every day. Once in awhile their recording comes on and says they are calling to let me know my warranty on my car has expired and they would like to make me a new offer. Other times they say nothing and just hang up. I get these calls every day. Sometimes up to 3 or 4 times per day. Isn't there a way to have these calls stopped? I have also had them on my home phone besides by cell phone. Note-my home phone is unlisted! What could be their reason for calling besides being annoying? How can this invasion of privacy be stopped?
Called at 4pm today, while I was at work. Left no message, and they call about three times a week. I ignore calls from numbers I don't know, but it's still annoying. My phone company told me I can't block incoming phone numbers..lame.
I knew it had to be a junk call. Did not answer. Left no message. I didn't want them using my minutes/money! Much of the time it is "final notice for auto warranty." I suggest not answering numbers you do not recognize. Peace!
