This is how we're gonna do it guys. Anytime they call you, tell them you want to set up a new warranty. Play along, tell them you'll get your check book info and what not, ask them for a good # to call them back directly. Pump them for as much info as you can get. After you get all the requested info, hang up on them and call back, asking to speak with a manager stating that you want your # removed or you're gonna call the DA of their state and sue their pants off.
I've gotten this phone call for months now. If you listen it will say something about press 7 (or some number) to have your name removed from the list. I pressed the number and they still call me! And at all hours of the night! It leaves messages, and they're all about "this is the last call for the factory guaranteed warranty" blah blah blah. Make it stop!!!
My experiences with these infamous beings are pretty much the same as everybody else here. I wish there was a way to get back to them, because I DO have some choice words for them. They just called me ten minutes ago. You call them back, busy signal! Very annoying to say the VERY least.
I also have received at least one call every week for over 3 months. It is an automated call about an expired warranty. Using reverse telephone number lookup services like whitepages.com, it shows a land line but no company info unless you want to pay $4.95 for their service.
This number calls me 4-5 times A DAY. Its on my work phone and is amazingly annoying. When I spoke to someone and asked to be taken off the call list, I was hung up on. Never got a name of the company and a call back will get you a busy tone and a message that the number is not in service.
