I wasn't sure if this is the same nightmare calls I have been getting from other mystery numbers, but the above descriptions convince me it is -- I made the stupid mistake of ordering a "Buxton Bag" from the website -- and I've been receiving these calls ever since (and my phone is a cell phone!) They have some fairly alarming info about your card, and then eventually launch into a pitch for a time share, or other product -- I've told them they are calling a cell, that I'm on the "no call" list (I've put my cell number on there repeatedly, even though you're not supposed to need to do this), told them to stop calling me, and screamed like a crazy person at them, and still they keep calling. All I can say is that buying "as seen on TV" stuff off the internet is a very bad idea, because this can happen to you, and there appears to be no way to stop it.
I ordered the walk fit orthotics also and have been getting tons of calls. One woman started talking about the last numbers on my credit card, I asked her for her name and phone number so I could call her back, her name was Sarah and the number she gave me was 866-807-2392. when I called back the number wasnt a working number. Go figure.
Do a little searching. Type in " HOW TO STOP TELEMARKETERS FROM CALLING YOU". I went to a site that was pretty interesting.

I also ordered a Buxton bag about 6 months ago and today got a call from this ladt trying rudely I might add If I didn't understand why she was calling to tell me they were giving me 300.00 gas card voughers I could use at any gas station. I asked how she got my number and she said I used my card and gave me the last 4 digits of my MC debit card. I am on the do not call list and didn't understand why she was calling or how she got my number. be aware...... get on the DO NOT CALL LIST and report them.
