231 area code is W. Michigan: Northwestern portion of lower Peninsula; Traverse City, Muskegon, Cheboygan, Alanson. I keep a list of area codes by my phone...if not one of my out of state relatives I don't answer. I also get calls from 1-616-980-2375 which shows on the Caller ID as BLUE T. 616 is also a W. Michigan area code for the cities of Holland, Grand Haven, Greenville, Grand Rapids, and Ionia. I never answer and they never leave a message. I always Google any phone number I don't recognize. The majority lead to websites listing complaints about these annoying telemarketers. I get calls from both of these numbers several times a week at different times of the day and evening.
Had 3 calls from 231-732-2698 about credit card debt, never responded.
Checked reverse phone info, found that the caller is located in MI, the phone provider is Lucre and apparently in a town called Morley in Grand Rapids. Could get name of owner of the phone number by paying $ 15.00 which I did not do.
