We are in Portland Oregon, and recently changed our phone service because we were getting so many calls like this. We answer the phone but no one ever says anyting. We just hang up. Last time, it said 'Recycle' in caller ID. We thought it was someone we knew pranking us, but it seems like it's not a personal attack anymore.
My caller ID says "Recycle" from 231-732-2721 and I pick up and, like usual, get a hang-up. They call sometimes twice a week, usually several times a month.
To say that I hate this annoying call is an understatement. Today "Recycle" called so early they woke up my sleeping toddler.
I live in Portland also and I just got a call from this number. I could hear noise in the background and then they hung up. When I called the number back I got a recording that said to leave my number and they would call me back....I don't think so!!! I wish someone would come up with a way to stop these losers! This is just plain irritating!
