Clicks and buzzes then nothing.  Sounds like telemarketer phone system switching to live operator.  I hung up prior to real person getting on line.

When I tried to answer this call from the 231 area code number, no one was there.  I should not have tried to answer this call as I did not recognize the number.  Can you please take me off this list?  Thank you.

This I think is a new number that AACC or AssetAcceptance Corp is using
to verify if peoples phones are still in use. They chase after OLD expired debts that may or MAY NOT be yours. Their HDQ is in Warren Mich.
Never pick up when you see them calling. They are also Call Center VA and MANY other numbers from Chicago to the East Coast.

Call came in at 13:24 on 12/18/08.
Calling device/party hung up (sounded like a call assistance center / telemarketer system which didn't have an 'operator' available when I answered).
