Said that I had gas cards coming to me, want to confirm my credit card. I told them no, I don't want anything. This was last week. Now they are calling again and again.
Don't give them anything.
I just received a phone call from these people. They told the call was in reference to my debit card number ending in XXXX - and that he wanted to send me a free 100 dollar gift card that I could use for gas, auto expenses, Walmart, Target, and Home Depot. I asked what company the guy was calling from, and he gave me a vague answer, danced around the subject, and wouldn't say a specific company. It was very sketchy. He kept on trying to confirm my address and asking me if those last four digits of my debit card were correct. I wouldn't say yes or no. Then, he told me he was going to connect me to the mailing department so that they could update my contact info. I kept on telling the new guy that I had no interest in their free reward and to remove me from their database. He gave me a lot of pushback, asking me why and would not giving up. While this guy kept on talking, I quickly googled the phone number and all of this scam information popped up. So, I said one last time, "please remove all of my information and do not send me anything." And hung up. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY INFORMATION.
