very similar to every one else's.... man said he was calling "about recent activities on your Citi corp account"..... to which I replied, "Then why aren't THEY calling me?" --and he hung up. I hadn't bought any Snuggies, though : )
Yup...been getting this number off and on for several months. I'd checked here and saw it was a scam call. But last night I answered. Oriental-sounding guy saying he was calling re my Visa card and how I've used it for a long time. (All my answers were "un huh") So I qualified for a very complicated sounding $100 gift card program. I let him go on to use up his time when I suddenly broke in and said, I know who you are and I'm reporting you to the authorities immediately. AND take me off your list. Guy panicked "What!!? How do you know?!!!??? Who are you???!!" I hung up. He then started auto calling me back over and over for about 5 minutes as I simultaneously answered/hung up. FYI, never bought Snuggies. Any ideas on who I should report this number to? Thanks! C.
received a call from 231-732-2947, stating that I was such a good customer that they were going to send me a 100.00 dollar gift card. They had the last four numbers of my card. I told the little man that he must be crazy and that I had already canceled the card.I got my new card today.It is not safe to buy on the internet. Some of these companies will sell your information to others. That is why I had to cancel my old card. The caller was not an American.
Just received call from this number. The caller ID had Amacore. They wanted to give me a $100 gift card and a $125 gas card. She also knew the last 4 digits of my credit card. The more I talked to her I told her I was not comfortable with it and asked her to mail me info since they had my mailing address. I asked her where she got the last 4 digits of my credit card and she would not say. I am calling my credit card company and reporting it.
