A woman calling on behalf of a Christian organization.  I didn't answer so she left a message.  She read a short passage from the New Testament, left seasons' greetings and wishes for a good Christmas holiday.

She also mentioned something about donations, a matter that would have been pressed further if I had answered the phone.  Still, if you're going to be pestered by solicitors, better these people than the blatant crooks from "card services."
