JUST GOT SOMEWHAT DUPPED BY A HOUSING SCAM...I DID GIVE MY INFO BUT WHEN IT CAME TIME TO DISCUSS PAYMENT I WAS TOLD HE WAS IN POLAND AND THAT I COULD FEDEX THE FUNDS TO HIM AND THE KEYS TO THE HOUSE WOULD BE FEDEX TO ME...BY FIREND RAN INTO A SIMILAR SCHEME RECENTLY WHICH LED ME TO GOOGLE THE PHONE NUMBER AND I FOUND THIS...EMAIL THAT WAS USED [email protected]
The way the scam works, he will ask for your Paypal information so he can pay by Paypal. His payment will include extra money that you are to forward to a shipping company he has selected.
You get a notice from Paypal that the payment is in your account so you wire the shipping fee to the shipping company. Then you check your Paypal account and the buyer's payment isn't there. The notice from Paypal was fake. The buyer and the shipping company can't be found. The buyer and the shipping company split the shipping fee.
This number was attempting to encourage me to send my personal information through email on a Housing Scam. Saying that I must fill out an "application" in order to rent a house. Known emails are: [email protected]; [email protected]
Got the same number on a housing scam. Researched the number on Google that led me here. Did the same thing with personal information through email. I didn't reply. The email I was given was [email protected]. glad I looked into this.
