Someone texted me and called me by my first name.  Not knowing anyone with this number, I texted back to ask who it was.  They replied I should add them on yahoo messenger as "andreawoman5".  I said no.  They replied "sorry I have no reception".

Obviously, if this were a real number, they could not text if they lacked reception.  Did a little more digging, and this seems to be the latest scam going around - to try to get one to log into yahoo I guess so they can steal your email or hack your computer or such.  They've been using different numbers and giving out different yahoo names, but the script is much the same, they know your first name they got somewhere associated with your phone so it looks like they know you, and want you to only talk to them on yahoo, and either they have no reception, or their battery is dying.  Also, their spelling and grammer is atrocious.  This phone is coming back as a VOIP phone number, so it's definitely an internet thing.  Reporting this number everyone I can think of so it can be further investigated.
