Robo call for emergency alert system. Says its already paid for. Don't fall for it. It will cost you a monthly charge. They also call from other numbers that you can not call back. When they ask you to press one, do it, keep them on the phone as long as you can to tie up their phones, ask as many stupid questions as you can come up with, tell them to hold on while you get your credit card then put the phone down and walk away. Don't forget to hang up 10 minutes later.
Report these calls to FTC. 877-382-4357. You can't always go by the numbers because they are also "spoofing". The number you see on the caller ID can very well be the number or a local consumer not at all associated with these scams.
Said that someone paid for the system for me. When I told her to remove my name & number she became very rude. It's a scam. Don't fall for it & give them no information.
