Who called from 2342230480

My girlfriend received a late night text saying [***] YOU [***]. About 20 times. It was followed by "Free SMS @ S L I P S M S .COM.

I've seen similar, but more threatening texts in posts here from the same website.

Is this actually coming from a person? Or is this some spam text message?

A lot of crazy people in this world. Can't be too cautious.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Same thing happened to me, last night  April 24, 2013:

"Received a late night text saying F*** YOU BI***. About 20 times. It was followed by "Free SMS @ S L I P S M S .COM."

Had the police come to the house this morning and take all the info to investigate.

Thanks for the update. I don't know if this is some psychotic marketing strategy or some lunatic targeting specific people. Hearing that the same thing happened to someone else makes me more comfortable... Makes me think its not a crazy individual... which is the scariest option I think.

I'll prob still alert authorities though... If you could let me know what the cops tell you I'd appreciate it. I'll do the same.
