Hi
how are you doing this Mrs Kim Morgan i would like to know if you do bathroom remodeling ,do you accept credit card for the payment?
Kim
**Pretty odd email considering most people pick up a phone to call a general contractor to discuss more details of the work they're looking for, but, we replied stating that we do accept credit cards.

*I busted up laughing!! This reads like those overseas scams. And then I googled the email address "
[email protected]" and came up with another report under another phone number and found this http://800notes.com/Phone.aspx/1-785-380-7932 Nice little scam going.... I hope no one falls for any of this!
She texted me from 234-228-0128: "This Kim Morgan about the bathroom how are you doing today and family" and then I see she also sent another email:
xxxxx E Ellis St, Mesa, AZ 85207
4 beds, 2 baths, 2,438 sqft
i will be making payment as soon as possible because i have less time but the most important thing here now is that the keys you will use in entering the house and do some checking are still with the initial owner and i have text-ed him and he got back to me that they will send the keys to the contractors that will handle the bathroom which will be you and you will meet my representative at the house as soon as you recive the key so they can tell you what to do ok ? i m,i mean someone you will meet there to work with you on the estimate and i will like you to do me a little favor so you will get the key soon ?

Now, to call her bluff. I'm a realtor who obviously can see any listings (past & current) and this home is not up for sale. The assessor's site tells me who the owner is. So, my response to her:
Hi Kim,
I can understand your urgency in getting an estimate done but I cannot make any arrangements with you via emails or texts. A phone call with the current owner would be the only way I will be able to work with you.
Please be advised that I am a Realtor as well and have all information regarding property ownership and sales, so I do know who the legal owner of the property is.
If you wish to move forward with getting an estimate, please have the owners of this property call me any time.
Thank you
Let's see if she responds to that one. I'll update if she does. I cannot believe anyone would be so foolish to buy into these kinds of scams!
