Scam caller.... They asked to speak to the person who handles the Ohio gas account. I do not live anywhere in or near the state of OHIO ... scam, fishing or a screwed up call directory. They do not ID themselves when calling .
They've been calling me for almost a year. I've told them repeatedly not to call. During the day, I work from home and my calls are recorded. I am not allowed to have personal calls. So, I've told them this is a business line and that they are not allowed to call this number. Which is the truth, if you tell them they've reached a business and not to call, they have to remove the number. Heck, if it's a personal number and you tell them not to call, they have to add you to their DNC list. But I've given them variations of 'this is a business' (such as I don't know who handles the utilities and no one here does, I've told them the line is recorded and that they are not allowed to call) and I've always made sure to tell them DNC. I've also told the TRUTH and that we don't even have gas. Then they start asking who my electric provider is!?!?!? Then I've lied and told them that I pay for all my utilities to the leasing office, I have no control over who provides our utilities. Also telling them not to call this number anymore.
But you're right and something I never noticed until I read your post, they don't identify themselves. I'm going to start reporting them for calling after I have told them not to.
