Almost daily I am recieving a call from this number with a recording. I am registered with the do not call registry so I'm not sure why I'm recieving it and want it to stop
I just received a call from this number on my cell phone, which is registered with the Do Not Call Registry. I just filed a complaint with the Do Not Call Registry and it the complaint was accepted.
I am also on the Do Not Call List. This is a robocall and the FTC recommends that you report them and DO NOT hit a number. Hitting a number gives the green light and can lead to more robocalls. This number does not show a company name but simply says Akron Ohio on caller id. We have Comcast and it allows us to block up to, I believe 12 or 13 numbers. It is simple, *60 and it asks if you want to block the last caller. I wait a few weeks and gradually delete the oldest numbers. We are shift workers, so no time is a good time for unwanted wake up calls. I have blocked 3 callers this week.
