It is a political survey. I decided to humor myself and answer the questions. Well we did figure out it was absolutely based on Republican fishing and this is why....I am a woman and the gentleman was polite in his questions but when asked if I was voting for Obama or Romney, I replied President Obama, he them said ok thank you mame now as part of our guidelines if there is a man in the home can we speak to him. Ok I thought and said of course and handed my husband the phone. Well his opinions must of been alot more important than this females cuz he was asked about 10 more questions than I right down to asking about josh mandale. I guess a females views were not important. How ignorant but then again a good majority of Republican makes can be just that ignorant
>>> I also think that the DO NOT CALL list is a bunch of bull being that I still get calls from solicitors. My phone is for Avon calls only and nothing more. These people need to stop calling period. <<<
Well, THAR'S YOUR PROBLEM! The Do Not Call list DOES NOT APPLY to business lines.
"The national Do-Not-Call list protects home voice or personal wireless phone numbers only. While you may be able to register a business number, your registration will not make telephone solicitations to that number unlawful."

What's more annoying is the failure of so many DNC registrants to spend the few minutes needed to comprehend that program's scope. It was built to cover sales calls "and nothing more". It is meant to help *consumers* limit their sales call traffic, not business people, who are expected to put on their big girl and boy pants and deal with cold sales calls without government laying pillows on the floor.

This thread indicates a surveyor, a non-sales purpose. To end the calls, you must *TELL THE CALLER YOURSELF*. Surveyors are not required to maintain internal no-call lists, but I'd say a majority of survey firms will respect a cease request. Whining here that "these people need to stop calling" isn't getting the job done.
So they called me at 8:50am. When I answered, they said it was from a dc off and I need to handle such as such asap. Now, when I had called, they said I owe such as such money and I will be arrested if I don't pay them back. First, all business hours are 9 am to 9 PM. 2) the last person who tried that with me I had went off and the person had stole my identity to open all of the other things under my Ssn. 3) they need to stop calling from different numbers and pretending to be a certain company
These calls are from Venture Data. Here's the link to have them remove your phone number from their calling list. https://www.venturedata.com/NoCallList.htm
