"This call is about your computer" says a hesitatingly long pausing IP telephony based India located accent. Yes, part of the scum around the planet that tries to trick unsavvy people. And it happened at 8:31 EST, relatively early in the morning. May there be plenty of evil that is unleashed into the lives of the vermin that initiate these calls.
I literally JUST had them call me saying the same thing, my boyfriend continued to do the steps they told him. Once they had full access to my moms computer, They began to take my music files, netflix files and pictures of me. This is extremely creepy saying as I'm only 16. I showed my boyfriend and he began to close all the windows. I still feel like they are now able to see and get a hold of anything and every thing I do, They're probably even able to get into all our accounts on the the internet, and copies of our ID cards saved on the computer. Pictures of my baby brother are now being seen along with every one else in my family. I'm not quite sure what to do at this point.
The caller ID said "Dir Assist OH" and I did not answer because it was 9:25pm in Hawaii. The prerecorded message didn't wait until my voicemail greeting was done, so all I heard was "goodbye."
This number has called numerous times, all it says is hello, hello. I do not answer any of these unknown
numbers, probably another telemarketer. Wish these people would get a life., I do not buy anything over
the phone.......
