They just called me on my unpublished cell phone number, I picked up, and the woman asked for my husband by name, and said she was with Progressive Recovery Services (don't know who that is). I live in NY and have never been to a hospital in Vegas or in the Midwest.
I live in las vegas also. I have been in the hospital recently and am current on my hospital bills. This number keeps calling my house and it only rings 1 or 2 times and then nothing. Its really annoying. Since I have a 2 and 4 year old its really annoying when they wake them up from there naps.
listen its not a scam, i got a hold of their main number- 866--705-3786. i thought it was a scam too, if you've ever been hospitalized they might have you on file still, just call that mail number and they'll take you off the list. its a computer sensed phone that hangs up when it doesnt sense a voice... just relax people your fine hahaha jesus

HOWEVER IF YOU SEND THEM A CERTIFIED DELIVERY CEASE AND DECIST LETTER, YOU CAN SUE THEM FOR $1000 FOR EACH CALL THEY MAKE AFTER RECEIPT OF YOUR LETTER IN SMALL CLAIMS. I WISH THEY WERE CALLING ME. I received calls from 866-852-7764 as well with no message left. At first I was confused with who they were but they are not an actual collection agency, but just a receivables branch of the Las Vegas valley health care system (a.k.a. Desert Springs Hospital, Summerlin Hospital. They tend to make collection calls before the invoice is due, so even if you're current you may receive a call if you owe them something.
