You aren't a Private Investigator, you are a teenager trying to make yourself look big.
Legitimate Private Investigators would forward this information to the police department of their own city, to then be forwarded to the police department that has jurisdiction in that alleged area, for an investigation.
If that home is served by copper landlines, any criminal-minded person could wiretap into the phone circuit(s) that serve that home and make illegal use the circuit(s).
Two other possibilities
- you are a shill for the caller.
- you are the caller and you are trying to grief the people that live at this address
Seven complaints in four weeks is a very low-volume scammer - but quite possible if the scam isn't the content of the call because the purpose of the call is to fake the phone number.
OMG!. Well Mike, I'm a real private investigator. While some information you posted MAY be accurate tells me you may have some level of access to personal information (VERY SCARY). If I were your boss you would be fired. Or your state regulatory agency would revoke your license. That move was highly irresponsible. Pull you head out of your [***]. My guess would be if I'm correct, your a novice at best. You do that in this business your gonna end up in jail.
They called my wife....actually they call all the time but she doesn't answer. This time I told her to answer to see who it was. They did not identify themselves. Sounded like a Male, possibly Indian or Middle East accent. She asked to be put on Do Not Call list and he said "No". I took the phone and asked "Who is this?" and he said "Who are you?". I said "Are you a Solicitor?" and he said "Who are you?". I asked again and he said, "You are M....... F.....er". I sat quiet and he said "Did you hear me? You are M....... F.....er". Then he hung up.
I know this is obviously a scam and likely linked to terrorists trying to scam people out of money to help fund their cause. I wish we could do something about this kind of crap.
