I got a call from this number, on my mobile at 9am on Christmas morning. I answered it wising the caller a Happy Christmas. The caller had a strong African accent and introduced himself (I cant remember his name). I thought It was a friend of mine who is overseas for Christmas having a joke. Th caller then told me he was calling from Nigeria. I hung up the phone immediately.
My phone was then called a further 6 times on Christmas day, then again on Boxing day a further 4 times. I haven't answered any of these calls but was worried that could I have been charged for the origonal? are there any current scams that I should be aware of?
I will repoty this to vodafone but they cannot bar a particular number from calling me and I dont want to bar international calls as I have a friends over seas.
