. Definitely a SCAM. I have received numerous text from various numbers, but they all say the same thing--exactly.
"Hello, Is this still available for sale? If yes get back to me immediately and my questions are: are you the first owner and what is your last asking price Thanks and hope to read from you soon"
trying to scam me on craigslist by texting me, gave some story about being a on a rig for petroleum offshore so wouldn't be able to do inspection what I have for sale would not work on a rig in the ocean scammmer
This phone number text me to buy my boat andsaid something about being a patrolium engineer and was going to send an agent to pick the boat up.Watch out!
Tried to buy my truck. Said the worked offshore as a petroleum engineer. Couldn't talk in person because of the weather or some BS like that. I realized right away this is a Craigslist scam! Be careful with people who can't talk in person and don't even want to see what you are selling before they offer to buy it!
This is the 2nd time they have contacted me on 2 different items saying they are buying it for a relative and want you to pay through pay pal. Don't waste your time.
