Left a voicemail on my cell phone that sounded like 4 or 5 men joking around in another language for a few seconds (NOT Spanish or English). At the very end it sounded like the man said hello and started to speak Spanish, but then it was cut off.
The number above was followed by my area code according to my voicemail mailbox.
Seems to be related to these numbers: 234-802-6285 and 234-802-8488
others online say these calls are from Nigeria and/or are related to dating websites.
In 2008, "Scott" made this comment on "800 Notes" about the numbers: 234-802-6285
and 01123418701499 and 01123484904988 :
"...011 is the code for dialing OUT OF the US, Canada. 234 is the code for dialing TO Nigeria...
Perhaps it's someone trying to make an international call from the United States, but getting it wrong."
