I have been receiving these checks for weeks. I have 6 checks now. I keep stringing them along. I have nearly $20,000 in checks. They actually told me to STOP BOTHERING THEM! Since the start I have received other, similar emails for scams. I have a check from a foreign lottery and one coming for charitable works.
My goal is to get up to $100,000 in checks. If nothing else they have to pay the costs for shipping and I get to annoy them. I never use a real name or address.
I just received a check for $2,950 for a $100 TV I listed on craigslist. The name on the check was Michael Gloukhav. HAHA! They wanted me to mail the rest to someone in another state. OK....
If people fall for this, i'm sorry to say this, they deserve to be scammed.
For all of you out there that is getting scammed by these people. They are useing a bank in South Dakota too . I also got a check for 2950.00 . A yahoo friend of mine ( at least I thought he was ) got this Micheal Gloukhov guy to send me the check . I was suppose to deposit it and in a day or two withdraw it and send it to my friend who says he is working in Africa . He needs the money to finish his work and get home so we can be together . So watch out not only for Micheal Gloukhov. He has other people working with him besides the Williams . Alan Welsh is another name . Good luck everyone . Because these people have done made me MAD . I'm going to see if i can't get some more info on these people nd turn them in ...!!!!!!!
