Got a call from the number just now. No one on line. I pressed redial and answering machine picked up. Instructed me to press 1 if I wanted to be taken off the calling list. I hope it works!

Didn't recognize the number, but I answered I thought it might be a business associate who loves in Ohio. I said hello several times, but no response. What is the point of the annoying calls?
They're probably phishing for info or confirmation. Never answer a number you don't recognize because if they are just confirming that the number is active that's all they may need to complete a process for identity theft. If you can- look up the number and find out if it's someone you know. If you don't know the number- call block it!!!
