Just received repeated calls from this number. Person calling speaks with a heavy accent and says that
my computer has been infected by a polymorphic virus in the last week. Person wants me to turn on the
computer and allow them to help me remove it. He says that they have my windows registration number
and have gotten my phone number from that. They purport to represent windows technical support.

These people are relentless - they are from "Windows Support" and want me to log on to my computer so they can help me delete possibly harmful files. Heavy middle east accent. Caller ID shows the number as 234-882-38339 - extra digit at the end.
Just received the same message. I wouldnt talk to them. Why would windows call you personally, they would no knowledge of what is going on with your computer unless you call them first.
