239-232-1588 just called our business, yet again, with an illegal robocall. The robocall voice states 'Hi, this is Ashley, and we're calling from SBLoans. If you've been in business for 6 months and can fill out a simple 4 page application, we can get you money, blah blah blah '. Word to the wise folks - this is a SCAM. It's nothing more than an attempt at Identity Theft, along with a high interest rate small loan. Loan sharks would be cheaper to use. Will be reporting the call to the AG's Office, as well as reporting it to the FTC and the FCC.gov website.
Prerecorded call, didn't even seem to know the name of my business or what we did. Talked to them for a couple of minutes. Not your typical loan arrangement. They take daily transfers from your bank account (rather than a monthly payment), but it's not through your merchant account. So it's a little different. Couldn't get them to relate it to an APR or anything, but I had to take another call, so maybe I could have if there was more time. Again, not that's I'd ever do business with a company that uses pre-records to telemarket. Frankly, if you're going to call my business to sell something, you better have done at least the minimal research on who you're calling. And don't use a pre-record.
