He called one day from this number and said that he had someone coming to give me the check for the money he won. I was told that I was receiving over $100,000. I have been diagnosed with brain cancer that affects my ability to makes smart decisions. Somehow this guy found out and took advantage of me. I need someone to help me fight this guy! I now am depending on a friend for a place to live and food. This note I am writing you is actually a friend typing for me since I don't have thinking ability anymore. I just got a call from this number. He know my full name. It was a male who claimed his name was David. He wanted to refund (over $300-) since the company could not provide computer service anymore with some kind of accent. He was rushing me to go in front of the computer and open up Internet Explore. I asked him the company's name. After a pause he said it is "First Data". I don't deal with the name of the company so I hung up. He kept calling about 6 times. I answered the phone the line was really choppy, so I asked him where he was calling from. He said he was calling from India and kept telling me to open Internet Explore. I told him I don't feel comfortable and I was busy downloading something. He said he would call me in a half an hour. I am going to block this number. From the noise I could tell he was calling from a call centre. Any one had the same experience?
Called asking for the home owner. He said he was an insurance company. What kind I asked. Car? No. House? No. He said medical. Wanted the home owner to call him back with the number on the phone. Couldn't give me the phone number though. I knew he was one of those guys who prey on unsuspecting individuals. Guess we will be getting more of them. How do you block this kind of person?
