Got a call at 8 am on a Sunday morning but no message left; called the number but an operator's voice said the number was disconnected. I've received and blocked at least five of these scam numbers this week alone! Make it stop!
This number is used by someone using Magic Jack. Anyone with a smartphone can download the app therefore figuring out exactly who (or what company) using this app is very difficult if not impossible.
Got a call. Didn't.answer it. Googled it. Came here seen this b.s. so decided to prank call them only it.was a Guy I know in Oklahoma. He said he's using an app. A free app like magic Jack on his phone. So the question
I have is.. are all of these prank calls and scams the work of one group or person or is this number just like a shell that's being used throughout the app? In other words the number might be assigned to many people using the app correct? So if that's the case when I call I get through to the original person that called me how? If several people are using this number/ it must automatically know to route me to whoever called me. Confusing? It sounds like this isn't one person and that's where people are getting confused. This number is several people depending on how many use this app correct? And when we call back. The app or software routes us to their phone. Kind of like an anonymous server or something? Idk. Just trying to help out. Point is I don't think this is the work of one person.. j
