I've been getting calls from these guys for about a year now, and each time I speak to someone they hang up on me as soon as I tell them to take me off of their list. I even had a guy make racial slurs towards me. Why can't the phone company do anything about this. For a while they were calling me at least 4 times a day. I am also on a "do not call" list, why aren't these people being held accountable for breaking the law?
Well, after getting this call once a day for over a week, I decided to proceed thru the damn process and see what they wanted. Pressed the required number to get thru the phone maze. The nice lady asked if I was calling about the promotion, and I told her, No, you called me, and have done so every day for a week, and I am tired of it and want to find out which credit card it is so that I can cancel it, if, in fact, you do represent a credit card company. Go figure, she hung up on me. Being in law enforcement, it appears to be a scam to get you to be gullible enough to reveal personal information about yourself that if it is legit, they should have anyway. My thoughts, don't tell them anything.Oh, and I am on Texas and Federal do not call lists.
Also, for what its worth, I just called the number back and low and behold, got a recording "we're sorry, but the number that you have dialed is not in service"
With VOIP and all the other internet technologies today, it is a scam for sure. They are trying to harvest your personal information.
Final follow up on this call. I went to the Federal Do not call registry and they have a complaint link which I am posting below. If enough of us report these folks, maybe they will get off our backs...yea like that will happen, but it is worth aggrevating them!

I just went to the Do Not Call Registry to file a complaint BUT they are not accepting the complaint because their number isn't in the registry. I was just called at 3:46pm est but didn't pick it up and they didn't leave a messege.
