These guys just called my cell phone, and I got the feeling it was some sort of telemarketer because they call me often, and usually I look up their numbers and they turn out to be fraudulent.

And I too filled out the application from a link on MySpace and waited about three weeks with no reply However having now read these other notes about this apparently fictional company I think I will refrain from calling them back. I do want to note, however, that when filling out the application for this company on MySpace - they DO ask you for an $80-$90 one-time-payment which they also DO tell you will be refunded upon the acceptance of your ride into their program (fairly certain of this). Yet, I did still think it was kinda fishy even on their website.

These guys very well could be a legitimate company looking for a reasonable up-front payment for their preliminary services, but I still say to watch out because the whole deal seems a bit off.

Tired of calls from this number. It turns out to be "carsponsorship.com" Heard that they are scammers.

Ya, definitely bogus. This started out as an online request to have my car sponsored for, what I thought, was something like 'Pimp My Ride'... which turned out to look too suspicious to be worth finishing the application process.

However, even though I canceled the application, emails and phone calls followed an announcement that my car was up for sponsorship.

Aside from having to pay for the sponsorship, you're apparently required to have all of the 'sponsored' products fitted to your ride at your expense and inconvenience. Not a problem if you have the facilities, tools and time, but it is a big problem otherwise.

Bogus or not, they're not playing by the rules. Canceling an application before it's complete is enough to suggest lack of interest. That shouldn't suggest to them that they should go ahead and cold-call/spam the living [***] outta us.

I got 2 calls from them today, when it got to leaving a message, all I heard was them hanging up. Called the numb back and they were closed. Went to there web page, the other number I saw was 1-866-340-1073 and an Email address.  [email protected] thats it for contact info.

Ive read these other post from months ago, and Im kinda pissed the BBC hasent done anything yet, why there still scamming people, and such !!!
