Keeps calling but never anyone there when I answer. I want to be taken off whatever list they're using, but calling back the number reaches a "no longer in service" message. Certainly a scam.
Today, I received four calls from (239) 443-4993 on my cell . I didn't answer because I have a rule; If the caller is not in my phonebook, and they don't leave a message, I probably don't want to speak with them.
Anyway, PeopleSmart's reverse phone search lists the number as, Gulf Coast Ready Mix, Cape Coral, FL 33901 in Lee County. I doubt that is who called, but I am sure that it is a scam. Stay safe.
Over the past 2 weeks, this number calls between 15 and 20 times a day, even as late as 11pm. You would think they would get the hint when the calls go unanswered! They need to stop calling!!!!!
If you do not answer the phone to tell them to stop they will keep calling. I answered and told them to stop and asked them to put me on their do not call list. When i'm calling to follow up with someone I always leave a message and I only call 2 times once in the morning and once in the evening at appropriate times. I do call different time zones so I make sure to watch that so i'm not calling at some ungodly hour. I do have a do not call list after I follow up with someone so I do not keep calling them. The best thing is to answer and tell them politely frist to stop calling you and tell them to put you on their do not call list. If they keep calling after that then you will have to get mean with them to keep the point across. I hope this helps you.
