Could hear a lot of voices in the background like a TELEMARKETING CALL CENTER and finally caller asking for someone by name. Repeated the name twice and then hung up. Wanted to know if home was owned or rented.
This has gotten out of hand. There are no legit telemarketing companies in Cape Coral FL. Any calls you get from here are spoofed area code. Any telemarketing calls to DNC listed numbers are illegal and spoofing the cid is also illegal since they are fraudulently hiding identity while making an illegal call. Block all numbers you don't recognize. Do not answer, press any buttons, nor say your name or "yes" under any circumstances. If they don't leave a message on the first call, it's not important or an illegal call, block. Legit and important calls will mail you information. Use common sense, If your on State and Federal DNC, legit telemarketers will not call you. Only illegal scammers will. Legit Charities, Surveys, and Political calls not subject to DNC lists. Will not call for 10 yrs if you ask to be put on their own DNC lists.
