I've been getting calls for some time both on my cell and at work. Also, calls have been placed from various numbers. Anyone have any success in removing your name from the list.
Just got a call from this number. When I answered, no one spoke and eventually the connection was lost. I believe that it was the auto-warranty spammers because at least twice a week i get a call from a different number about "the second notice that the factory warranty on my vehicle is about to expire." I don't even have a vehicle registered in my name. There is no way to stop these calls.
glad I googled this number, Just received a call, but like others I don't answer calls that I don't recognize. How do we stop these fake calls? It seems that each month I get a new number calling me and when I google it others report the same phone #.... very annoying!

I just rec'd this call (from WV); this is the second one in a couple weeks. My cell is also AT&T. I believe it has something to do with AT&T and I'm calling them, pointing them to this site; and tell them if it continues I'm dropping AT&T. AT&T has just bought out Cellular One and I never rec'd any calls like this until now. I don't have a new vehicle .. the man said it was my second notice (which is what he said the first time)
